Ward Recycling

Based in Staffordshire, Ward is a business with more than eighty years of experience in the scrap and recycling business. In recent years, it has experienced significant growth, with a number of new sites opening – including a deep sea export dock facility. With more than 350 employees and over seventy vehicles, Ward is a big business with an ever-growing supply of work.

DMA have worked closely with the General Manager of Ward’s Logistics and Waste division, recruiting a number of middle management positions – ranging from a Broker Manager and Fleet Manager to numerous other key positions for this growing area of the business. We have worked on a search fee and a contingent fee basis, dependent on the nature of the role. As one of our newer clients, we have worked intensively with Ward to understand their particular culture, how it is changing – and therefore the profiles of those candidates who will succeed within the business.
